The School of Biology established in 1991 is the first one to be established among medical universities in Taiwan and renamed as Faculty of Biomedical Science and Environmental Biology in 2004. Here, our core goal is to promote an understanding in biology and bio-medical science through emphasis on educational training in environmental biology and biomedical science. Students learn to integrate the life sciences with modern biotechnology allowing them to become a new and creative generation of modern biologists.
