Students graduating from the department have extremely good prospects, and often move on to graduate schools for further education or get jobs in an assortment of fields. There are numerous graduate institutes throughout Taiwan and abroad that students can apply for once they graduate. Alternatively, graduates may choose to attend post-graduate medical school here in Taiwan.
Occupational opportunities for our graduates include:

1. Laboratory research assistants and technicians in research institutes or universities.
2. Posts in biotechnology-related government organizations and private industries.
3. High school and elementary school teaching.
