2026 Students’ Oral Presentation Competition

1. Purpose: To encourage students of the College of Life Science to actively participate in life science-related research and to enhance the academic research atmosphere within the college.

2. Eligibility: All current master's and doctoral students of the College of Life Science are eligible to participate. Each student is limited to submitting one research for the competition.

3. Date and Time: March 26, 2026 (Thursday), 09:00–13:30.

4. Venue: Conference Room 4, 4th Floor, Li-Hsueh Building

5. The competition is divided into the following groups:

(1) Medicinal Chemistry Group; (2) Applied Chemistry Group;

(3) Biomedical and Biotechnology Group; (4) Environmental Biology Group.

Participants should register under the category that corresponds to their field. Each oral presentation will be limited to 5 minutes and must be delivered in English. Judges will evaluate and score based on the content of the presentation.

6. Presentation Schedule Announcement: The oral presentation competition schedule will be announced by March 20th (Friday).

7. Rewards: To be announced.

(1)   The registration (including abstract submission) deadline will be 17:00, 10th March 2026. The abstract (in pdf. form) should be uploaded upon registration.

(2)   Please prepare the abstract as a continuous text, clearly structured to include the study background and rationale, main findings, and conclusions. The abstract should not exceed 250 words. The abstract template is available at: https://pse.is/8muyg4
